Industrial
design, made
for mass production.
A father–son studio led by Shlomo & Boaz Zucker — turning overlooked, everyday problems into patentable products for the world's biggest personal care and consumer brands.
For over four decades we've been designing the objects people touch every day — razors, toothbrushes, medical instruments — engineering them for injection molds, supply chains, and shelves, not just renderings.
WHAT WE DO
Product design, mechanism engineering, and DFM — carrying an idea from napkin sketch through to a patent-protected, mass-producible product.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Personal care and grooming brands, medical device makers, and consumer goods companies who need genuinely new mechanisms — not another me-too SKU.
HOW WE THINK
Practical simplicity. If a mechanism can't be molded, assembled, and sold at scale, it isn't finished — it's just a sketch.
Product Portfolio
Nineteen products, one design language: solve the mechanism first, style follows function.
Dollar Shave Club
Zuckerim engineered the razor systems behind Dollar Shave Club — including a patented handle mechanism where the cartridge docks with a single hook and ejects via a spring-loaded pushrod, used across the line members shave with today.
Defender
RollingRazor's successor: two newly engineered handles behind a flexible, self-clearing head that rinses clean and follows every contour of face, head, and body.
Dormotech
Zuckerim designed and developed the wearable hardware behind DormoVision X, Dormotech's FDA-cleared wireless sleep diagnostics platform — self-applied sensors that stream 29 physiological channels in real time, with results shown to reach 96.6% agreement with in-lab polysomnography. Cleared for patients age 6 and up, and a project Zuckerim also holds a stake in.
RollingRazor
"Changing shaving forever" — the industry's most advanced razor handle in over a century. Curved, dual-directional cartridges roll with skin's contours instead of scraping, shaving with and against the grain in one stroke.
Moose
Now MooseCare: a cloud-connected creamer that melts a single eco-friendly, dissolvable pod into a full cup of warm shaving cream in 60 seconds. Heat opens pores and softens hair for an irritation-free shave, temperature controlled from a companion app that also reorders pods automatically.
BladeKites
The full control bar system for Blade Kiteboarding, hand-sketched and engineered by Boaz Zucker — from concept sketches to a swivel bearing built to survive sun, salt water, and sand.
ZBAM Design
Zuckerim's own mobile-accessories venture, founded in Tel Aviv in 2013 by Alon Zucker, Shlomo Zucker, Eyal Madar, and Boaz Zucker, right as phone cameras were becoming the camera most people actually used. Gekkopod and Sticko (see their own entries) were ZBAM's breakout hits, but the wider catalog covered a full family of gecko-armed mounts and clip-on gadgets: GekkoXL, the bigger sibling built for action cameras; 3POD, a flexible tripod that folds into a selfie stick; BeamCool, a diffuser that softens a phone's camera flash into a reading light; BeamoCo, an aimable clip-on flashlight; GripOp, a slip-on phone grip and stand; and MagWallet, a magnetic slim card wallet.
Gekkopod
"The World's Most Flexible Mount" — a gecko-inspired, silicone-and-spring mount that wraps around almost anything and holds up to 11 lbs. Designed and brought to market end-to-end, from Kickstarter to national retail shelves.
Rolling Toothbrush
A patentable rolling-bristle mechanism that improves brushing efficiency over a standard head.
MicroPedi
Developed for Emjoi as Micro-Pedi: coarse and extra-coarse rollers spin at high speed to gently buff away hardened, callused skin in seconds — a safer, faster alternative to metal scrapers.
Ladycase
Purpose-built storage that organizes feminine care products with discretion.
Thermal Beacon
A helmet-mounted infrared beacon, visible only through friendly thermal optics — giving ground and air units instant identify-friend-or-foe recognition to help prevent friendly-fire incidents.
Arch Medical
A lateral-access lung-sampling device that reaches tissue through the bronchial tree — a minimally invasive alternative for diagnostic biopsies that reduces injury risk and shortens recovery time.
GekkoStick
A bendable selfie stick combining soft silicone with flexible metal — curl it, wrap it, or stand it up, then fold it flat to pocket size. Ships with a Bluetooth remote for hands-free shots.
Sticko
Four suction cups facing two directions, joined by a flexible connector and a keychain clasp — sticks a phone to almost any smooth surface, wherever you go.
Stylit Hair Comb
Developed for Emjoi: dual combs vibrate 100–200 times per second to add volume and shine with every stroke — no heat, no damage, styled straight from the comb.
Boldking Shower Razor
A suction-mount razor for the shower that bends, twists, and adapts to every part of the body — built for full-body use, developed for Boldking.
Goodbye Lice
Developed for Emjoi: an automatic, electromechanical comb that uses ultrasonic vibration to detect and remove lice and nits — no chemicals required.
HalfBath
A flexible, adjustable divider that turns any bathtub into a safe, contained space for young children to bathe alongside older siblings.
A well-designed shaving handle should be comfortable, secure, and visually appealing — high-quality materials, appropriate weight and balance, and an attractive design.
Shlomo & Boaz Zucker
Two industrial designers, one studio — an unusually long track record for products that actually make it to shelf.
